About Us! Our Vision:   We believe God is calling us to be a hope-filled, spiritual community; to demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways that build relationships, serve the world around us, and encourage spiritual growth. We strive to provide a safe haven for exploring issues of faith, where all are welcome, wherever they are on their spiritual journey. Christ the Lord Episcopal Church is located in Pinole, California, a small bedroom community in the San Francisco Bay Area.  We are a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of California, which means we are under the direction of the Bishop.  Our misson is well known for its generous spirit (we are fourth in the Diocese for per capita giving) and friendly people.  Our address is 592 A Tennent Ave.  Take the Pinole Valley Rd exit from I-80 and travel about seven blocks towards downtown Pinole. Keep going straight when Pinole Valley Road splits off. You will now be on Tennent Ave.  We are one block past San Pablo Avenue on the left side of the street, across from Fernandez Park.  Outreach is important to us.  We are one of the primary contributors to our local food bank.  We also are acknowledged as generous participants in the Diocese's charitable works.  The backbone of Christ the Lord (CTL) is the warm hearts of its members. The children in our mission are a vital part of the community and our best evangelists!  We welcome children as active participants in all aspects of our worship and fellowship.  No matter what age you are or what your background is, we'd love to have you join us!
